After fifteen years in the fashion and design industry, the partners abandoned their respective careers for travel and self-discovery. Worn started with the production of a single chair, the SLING chair. It was the first time either had worked with the design and production of furniture, and as much as they focused on the design of the actual item, they focused equally on the idea of creating a consumable object that was free from ego and completely honest in its manufacturing. Something beautiful, ethical and accessible. And so Worn came to be.
Every item made by Worn is made to order and made by hand with small family owned businesses that respect the time it takes for each piece to be made by one single person. As Worn grows so too does awareness of maintaining balance.
