About Maria
Maria Rozalia Finna is a Melbourne based Pop Surrealist artist. She has exhibited on a local and international level since 2009. She takes inspiration from a range of sources, from traditional children's illustrations and fantasy, to 80's animation and Kawaii culture. Her oeuvre forms an eclectic pastiche, spanning from saccharine psychedelia to muted, ethereal strangeness. She studies, works part time as a Graphic Designer and always finds time for spontaneous bouts of random creative expression. She is an animal lover, vegan, and believes in fairytales, especially unicorn related!
