No Ordinary Top 100

Everybody Wants To Rule The World

Cherish

Into Your Arms

For many, songs tell a story, whether it is the songwriter, the singer or simply the listener. At some milestones in our lives there are songs which end up forming a soundtrack to certain events. Whether it be something as cliche as a first kiss, a road trip with friends, being at a momentous occasion or a certain track happened to be playing when you received good or bad news.

Karin Maier, is capturing these moments with an exhibition which will feature a 100 visual works inspired by her translation of the songs and special significances that others have shared with her. If you are interested in being apart of this exhibition by sharing your song and memory with Karin email her at theyellowhouseintheu@gmail.com. It doesn’t have to be your favourite song, but it should be an important song, a song that represents a little snapshot of your life.

I’ve already emailed Karin my story and song, the song was AC DC, Hells Bells. Can’t wait to see what she creates with it. What will be yours?
