After almost a decade of unearthing female talent and bringing it to a hungry art audience worldwide, CURVY is thrilled to announce that we are calling for submissions for the 2012 book – number 8 in the series.

We’re also excited to announce that CURVY has teamed up again with our old buddies at Semi-Permanent – and this year’s book will be officially unveiled at Semi-Permanent Sydney on May 11th via an inspiring exhibition and artist showcase.  CURVY will then travel with the SP show to Melbourne and Brisbane later in the year. 

If you’re an established or aspiring female artist or illustrator – and you’re looking to have your work seen by an inspired audience around the globe – get up and get your submission in to us now.

Note on deadline: 

Due to the overwhelming number of entries in past years, we’ve decided to shorten the submission window to two weeks only – so be quick!   Submissions are open now – but close at 5pm sharp (Aus time) on Friday Feb 17th. 

CURVY Submissions Specs: 

For the first round we only need to see low res examples of your work.  We do not accept links to your work, please send attachments only.  We accept a maximum of three entries per artist and please observe the specs below for this round. 

Trim Size: 250mm (H) x210mm (W)
File Format : JPG, TIFF, PDF only
File Size: No bigger than 500k per attachment.
Quantity: Maximum 3 images per artist

All artists will be informed if they have been accepted into CURVY 8 or not.  In the event you are selected, we will also be in contact to advise our print ready format at that time.
