A few months ago we went behind the canvas with several well known and up-and-coming Australian artists. Now we’re going to go beyond the canvas with a group of Australian artists and illustrators whose works you may or not be familiar with. Above is a look into the studios and creative spaces of Curvy artists Rebecca Murphy and Kaitlin Beckett, shootn’ from the hip of insanity Josh Lord, the talented illustrator Beth-Emily and Melbourne’s very own Mike Adey.
Their studios are a sneak peek at into not just who they are and what they create, but a look into where the creativity is unleashed, a place where few ever get to go. One’s studio is a personal space. It’s where you feel free to express your feelings, be inspired and create without being judged. By shutting the door your in your own little world full of paint, pencils, pens, markers, canvases and what ever else you choose to create with.
